Building Blocks

Yesterday was a first Tuesday so me and my angels got together for a little Quilty Hug sewing. I had four project boxes with pre-cut pieces in various stages of completeness. Shelly chose the scrappy log cabin and added a few more blocks.
Marilyn wanted a little mindless sewing and chose these simple four patches.
I chose these blocks. I would have got a lot more done if I hadn't spent so much time sewing without bobbin thread. GRRR!!!! I was chaining these cuties and did a whole run without bobbin thread. Will I ever learn.
Sue and Ruthie had other obligations and couldn't make it. I'm looking forward to next month I think with all these building blocks we should be able to put a couple of tops together.

  1. Ha! Sewing without bobbin thread? I thought I only did that. Nice blocks though.

  5. I laughed way too hard about your bobbin thread. I did the very same this past weekend. I couldn't believe I had sewn such a huge pile without noticing! :)

  6. I have sewn without bobbin thread more times than I would want to admit. I hope we see what the last set of blocks will become.
